Meg and some wonderful local Rochester residents are coming together to help each other fill in the gaps.

My decision to be part of this network is because through small acts of kindness together we can do great things. I realized giving friends $50 or $25 or even $250 during the pandemic when times were tough and they had to figure out how to buy groceries because all their money went to pay rent and utilities, I realized how fortunate I am knowing, in my own life, when I needed help and support I had friends and family I could turn to. Many people don't. And, well I'm your friend, and I'm your family now. We at the Mutual Aid Network are your friends and neighbors.

Love is an action word and we think providing mutual aid especially during a natural disaster such as #COVID19 is an act of love we can provide for each other.

Continue to wear a mask, stay safe, and wash your hands! But, know that as a non-governmental grassrootsy people-powered group, we are figuring it out as we go along.
